Anyone who hasn't yet heard a song by Bon Iver is definitely missing something in their life. Justin Vernon is the man behind the moniker "Bon Iver," meaning "good winter" in French. The album was recorded by Vernon in an isolated cabin in Wisconsin during the winter of 2007, and was released by Vernon himself later in 2007. The entire album was recorded using only what primitive recording equipment Vernon had with him in the cabin, but remarkably sounds fairly intricate, with a lot of dubbing. The album was later re-released by indie label Jagjaguwar, and has since gained considerable critical acclaim. The songs themselves are some of the most beautiful recordings I have heard, and resemble the ephemeral feel of Iron and Wine. "Flume" and "Skinny Love" are the most well known songs from this album, but the entire album is truly a fantastic piece of work, and guarantees to leave you enthralled with the lyrical genius of Vernon.Track List:

4. The Wolves (Act 1 & 2)
